This position represents JCCC Honors at internal and external events. This position is for 5-12 hours per week with flexible scheduling. This position is only open to current JCCC students in the Honors Program. Activities will include marketing as well as event planning, and recruitment (including social media) to honors peers.

 

Job Duties

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating Volunteer Honors Student Ambassadors and Peer Mentors  
  • Representing Honors 
  • Marketing of Honors 


Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling, shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

 

Required Qualifications

Student in good standing in the JCCC Honors Program with at least one semester in two honors courses
Knowledge of the Honors Program and Community Based Learning
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record to be insurable on the College’s insurance
Basic photography skills
