Job Summary

The Lead CoLab Support Assistant serves as team lead to the CoLab Support Assistants, providing and ensuring backup support assistance to the Collaboration Center Support Specialists. Communicates organizational goals, safe practices and deadlines. Oversees and motivates team members. Leads CoLab Support Assistant team meetings, facilitates and tracks training and prepares team scheduling. Provides help to the Coordinator in the areas of hiring and training and keeps the Coordinator updated on team performance. Collaborates with the Coordinator on scheduling to ensure back-up events management support and technology tutoring staff coverage.

Serves as lead tech tutor providing basic support for JCCC student educational technology questions. Use support tools and documentation to assist in helping address student educational technology needs in the Collaboration Center. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
