Job Summary

The Electrical Technology program is seeking qualified candidates for Adjunct Assistant Professor to teach such topics as electrical theory, print reading, residential, commercial and industrial wiring methods, safety and electrical code. Most courses include laboratory and lecture sections, and are offered during the evening hours.

 

Required Qualifications

Associates degree plus a minimum of 5 years experience working in the electrical industry
Journeyman electrician license
Demonstrate current electrical and construction industry knowledge
Ability to use various presentation methods to lecture and demonstrate within a class or lab environment to diverse audiences
Be capable of working safely with a variety of industrial tools and installation operations in a lab environment
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree plus a minimum of 3 years experience working in the electrical industry
Master electrician license
Teaching or training experience
