The Chemistry Department is looking to hire a full-time Chemistry Laboratory Coordinator. Duties include but not limited to the following: Prepare chemical reagents and laboratory materials for each lab and all lab practical exams for all courses, including Principles of Chemistry, General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Communicate regularly with faculty, the Chair of Chemistry and the Dean of Science. Maintain adequate stock supplies, submit orders, and keep computer database of purchases. Manage inventory and sale of used lab coats and goggles. Manage and prepare chemistry lab waste for storage and disposal. CONNECT Mentor Overland Park Main Campus
The CONNECT Peer Mentor serves as a peer support for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are enrolled in the CONNECT Supported Education Program. Studio Technician will also assist Studio Manager with kiln preparation, loading and unloading, and kiln firings. Additional tasks may include assistance with glaze preparation and clay mixing. Other tasks may be assigned as needed by the supervisor to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Fine Arts Department.
