This position is responsible for the front-line operational success of the CLEAR program, ensuring a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment during the Fall and Spring semesters. The incumbent manages real-time logistics, including classroom readiness, staff and aide assignments, and the "day-of" coordination of special events and performances. Serving as a primary point of contact for student safety and behavioral support, this role independently addresses facility and emergency concerns, coordinates with Campus Police when necessary, and maintains effective communication with students, families, and staff to ensure seamless program delivery.

The Health and Wellness Department is seeking adjunct faculty to teach credit pickleball activity courses within the department curriculum. These courses are taught every semester and may vary with regard to time and days each semester.
The successful applicant for this job will teach the equivalent of 1-9 credit hours per semester in the HPER department. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, including collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the HPER department and other duties as assigned. Teaching assignments could be day, evening, or weekend courses, and hybrid or on-line and are subject to change as needed.

Adjunct Faculty, Dental Hygiene

This position is for a part-time adjunct clinical dental hygiene instructor. The adjunct clinical faculty will be assigned to instruct students in Clinical Dental Hygiene while they provide dental hygiene treatment in the clinic. The position may also include Friday labs (radiology, local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide sedation labs). The clinical position need varies Monday -Thursdays from 7:45 am to 5:30 pm. The contract pay is for a nine (9) hour day that includes 8.5 hours of clinical teaching time and a 30 minute lunch time calibration. Contract pay for Friday labs will be based on the number of hours worked. This position could also potentially serve as a substitute when other part-time or full-time faculty are unable to work and/or there is an emergency need to fill.
Staff Dentist, Dental Hygiene

The Staff Dentist is a integral member of the Dental Hygiene Program who works in collaboration with the supervising dental hygiene faculty in treating patients scheduled for care in the JCCC dental hygiene on-site clinical facility. This current position is for Mondays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm that will begin in the fall 2026 semester. The Staff Dentist will supervise, mentor and assist students in evaluations for health records, restorative charting, caries risk, occlusion and radiographic surveys. Specifically, the dentist’s role includes:
*Performing an initial and periodic examination on patients presenting for periodontal maintenance
*Providing a dental diagnosis for each patient
*Making referrals for care beyond dental hygiene needs
*Consulting on complex medical histories
*Preparing prescriptions as needed
*Reviewing radiographs with students and discussing the patient’s caries risk assessment and dental needs
*Grading radiographs as indicated
*Utilization of an Electronic Record and Digital Imaging Systems
*Learning and following all JCCC clinical policies and procedures and the operation of the Dental Management System
