Job Summary

The Career Pathways Event Assistant position assists the Program Director with creating and conducting career ready presentations, events, and activities for high school students and school districts.

 

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
• Professionalism in all environments and comfortable sharing information with diverse audiences (students, faculty, administrative support, administrators, school district personnel, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
• Administrative skills and strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Experience with event planning
• Associate's Degree or High School Diploma with 5+ years of applicable experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience working w/secondary students/school district personnel
• Experience w/developing and conducting presentations
