Part-Time Supervisor Bookstore Warehouse Overland Park Main Campus
Under the direction of the Bookstore Assistant Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the warehouse staff and the receiving, logging and routing of all Bookstore deliveries, check-in, pricing, stocking and return of textbooks and merchandise. The Warehouse Supervisor and staff ships merchandise from all departments within the Bookstore and works with the Bookstore Buyers on floor maintenance, shelf stocking and inventory management. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with the bookstore management team in the development shipping and receiving policies and procedures and researching and solving receiving/shipping discrepancies.
Box Office Clerk Overland Park Main Campus
Perform general box office duties, answer telephones, sell computer tickets for events, perform data entry, keep box office records and reports, balance cash drawer for events, provide information and directions to the public and perform other duties as assigned. Working days and hours vary and include weekends and evenings

Student Life Ambassadors (SLA) assist in the development and implementation of programs that foster student engagement and belonging at JCCC. Additionally, this position helps perform the day-to-day functions associated with the operations of Student Life offices and are hired for one of the below teams: - Center for Student Involvement: Clubs & Organizations – Get Involved @ JCCC engagement portal - Student Lounge: living room of the campus – gaming consoles & equipment check-out. - Student Engagement Desk/Student Activities: Student ID Cards & College Switchboard - Student Basic Needs Center: Cav Cupboard food pantry, emergency housing/transportation assistance or other hardships.
Lead Groundskeeper Overland Park Main Campus
Maintain landscape plantings to include flower and shrub beds, turfgrass, native grass plantings, trees and tree rings. Work will involve mowing and trimming, weeding and watering shrub and flower beds, mowing and weeding of the native grass areas and tree maintenance. Will assist with snow removal and other duties as assigned.
Assistant Professor Computer Information Systems Overland Park Main Campus
The selected candidates will teach 15 credit hours per semester in Computer Science and Information Systems with January 2024 start. Current department needs include teaching courses in data analytics and programming. Additional duties expected of full-time faculty include maintaining scheduled office hours; developing and revising curriculum; training faculty in new curriculum as needed; developing and implementing course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; developing and maintaining relationships with industry and academic partners; participating in college, division, and department meetings; serving on committees; and other duties as assigned. Teaching assignments could be any combination of face to face (day or evening), hybrid or online, and are subject to change as needed. On-campus presence is required.

JCCC is seeking a qualified candidate for Assistant Professor to build and teach a new Machining Technology program. This candidate is expected to serve as a content expert in all machining related courses. Responsibilities include developing curriculum and teaching all aspects of machining technology including theory, methods, materials, print reading, measurement, inspection, manual machining and CNC machining in accordance with KBOR requirements. Most courses include laboratory and lecture sections, will initially be offered during the day and eventually evening hours as the program grows.
