The Embedded Tutor will support JCCC by serving as an academic support personnel member who works alongside instructors in the classroom settings to enhance student learning.

The 12-month Full-Time Assistant Professor in the Health Occupations will perform the duties expected of full-time faculty, including maintaining scheduled office hours; developing and revising curriculum; developing and implementing course and program assessment of student learning outcomes; participating in college, division, and department meetings; serving on committees; and other duties as assigned. They will also be responsible for ensuring Certified Nurse Aide checkoffs are completed appropriately and within regulatory standards. The individual will assist the director of the Health Occupation program in orienting new faculty as needed and conduct peer reviews of CNA and CMA courses.
Tutor I - Math Resource Center

Tutor students in various Mathematics courses taught in Johnson County Community College. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assist students with computer software, web-based homework platforms, and calculator skills necessary for the courses, help with problem solving skills required in Mathematics, and other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Tutor II - Math Resource Center

Tutor students in various Mathematics courses taught in Johnson County Community College. Other responsibilities include referring students to appropriate resources, assisting students with computer software and calculator skills necessary for the courses, helping with problem solving skills required in Mathematics, mentoring new and peer tutors, working in outreach programs, and other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Under direct supervision of Course Materials Supervisor coordinate the timely submission of adoption forms, perform specialized purchasing of applicable course materials and ancillary items for specifically assigned areas. Maintain existing inventory in assigned areas, using system reports to aid in purchasing and cyclical inventory preparation.
